I cannot wait to go home! I’m already thinking of things to do to my wife (replace “to” with “with”) as I miss her so much. Both of my sons are getting bigger and the baby is walking now. Still only a few steps but that’s how we all start. A lot has happened since my last post. I could’ve written everyday if I wanted to but the laziness got the best of me. Besides too much time at work and working out there isn’t a lot to do here except dream about home. I say “too much time at work” since I don’t really have a lot to do here except be at work. In all honesty, I hate this place. There’s nothing grand about it but I figure it could be worst. I’m content with what we have here – better than having nothing. Still, this place blows!!! But I’m almost home. At least, that’s what I tell my self everytime to ease the pain.

I even miss the smell of freshly cut grass – although I don’t miss cutting the grass at all. However, it’s almost football season and we have about 19 days left until my beloved Utes go to the “big house” and destroy the lowly wolverines. For now, they Olympics should keep me pre-occupied with sports.

Speaking of the Olympics, I have to say that the Chinese put on a very phenomenal opening show. It is the best I have ever seen. I thought nothing could top the Barcelona (1992) bow and arrow lighting of the fire. But the Beijing one is simply the best. They do know how to make everything dramatic!

Anyways, I took a picture of a patch on one of our HAS’s. It’s really funny and I doubt it’s an official one.
