Inspiration (Website)

July 24, 2010

Here’s a site I found just now.  The author swears it’s not his pics so I guess I have to believe him.  Likewise, the pics below are not mine either. However,  I stumbled upon this and thought that it’s a good place to visit for ideas.  Enjoy

Here’s a shoot from last week…  We shot this at an open field somewhere in Clinton.  The ground was so dry and dusty that by the time the shoot ended, my feet (I was wearing flip-flops) was covered in grey.  And even after 7pm, the sun was still high and it was super hot!!!  She reminded me of an Abercrombie model.  Hence, some editing look faded and monochrome.

Note:  She has extremely gorgeous eyes!  Careful…

Nikie

I shot this a couple of weeks ago… just got around to editing them now.

Nikie is very good at modeling.  When asked if she went to school for this, she says “no”.  And I had a really fun time with her and am looking forward to doing it again.  This was another super hot day!  It was around 6pm and the sun was still too high!  The temperature outside must’ve been around 120 degrees…  I spent a lot of time in the shades.  Hahaha!!!  Cooling off is a must as I could not bear to sweat in the scorching heat!  Here she is…

Another shoot with a model.  My lights weren’t working right and to top it off… I didn’t have any batteries for my wireless sync!  I had a whole bunch which were not charged.  I had to use the PC Sync from the camera itself, wire it directly to the strobe and go from there.  I was getting a little frustrated.  Oh, did I mention it was hot?  It was ridiculously hot that day!  Nonetheless, Ria was beautiful, and as such, I was able to get some gorgeous shots.

Here she is…

SF – Chinatown

We went to Chinatown in San Francisco for one reason… Dim Sum.  Delicious and very cheap!
