About Me

November 17, 2008

I have to say that graphics is my passion. Although science (particularly, mathematics) was my first love, graphics art gets me pumped. It has become an escape from the world of numbers and proofs. By no means am I an expert. However, I am learning still and will forever be a student in everything including life itself. I intend to build on what is currently at hand so that I can work independently someday – maybe after I retire from my current job.

I am currently a freelance photographer. And I have worked on a few photoshoots for my portfolio. My camera is just another part of my body… I cannot look at things and not wonder how it would look on a photograph. I find my viewfinder as a window to nature’s soul. I click the shutter and my heart jumps in delight. Whether ugly or beautiful, I want my photos to wow people always.

I am in love with music and I admire (sometimes with jealousy) the people who can make them. I play the guitar and the drums with passion. But I am still an amateur at best. I do sing often and I am comparable to the sound of the rooster as it crows in the morning; Or the howling of the wind in your dreams like the scary movies you saw when you were little; Or the cry of an infant child longing for her mother’s breast; Or the growl of that lion who was once a king of the jungle prior to it eating it’s prey… get it? I sure don’t. I cannot sing.

I am a critic in everything. I can find the beauty and the flaws all around us. It is my gift and my cancer. Often times it leads to an argument with people (even the ones I don’t know) or a simple slap to the back of my head from the beautiful hands of my lovely wife. Yet, I cannot help it. I am blunt! So please, don’t ask me if your pants make your butt look big.  You might not like the answer.  Sorry…

I have two beautiful boys. My wife is my best friend.
